Key Onboarding Steps – Whatsapp Cloud API

Easily create a WhatsApp Business account directly through your integration partner’s website with
our WhatsApp Business Platform onboarding process.
Follow this checklist to quickly get started:

1. Facebook login
   Login with a personal Facebook account. (Newly created accounts may not be approved.)
2. Create a Facebook business account
   a) Link to an existing Facebook business account or create a new business account.
   This account will be associated with your WhatsApp Business account.
   b) You’ll need to confirm your Facebook business ID (15- or 16- digit number).
3. Provide official business information
   Provide key details about your business
   a) Contact: details: This includes your main business contact person and email.
   b) Business name: The operating name of your organization.
   c) Business address: Provide the official legal address of your business.
4. Create a WhatsApp Business profile
   Create or link a WhatsApp Business profile with display name, category and business description.
5. Create a new WhatsApp Business phone number
   Decide if you want to:
   a) Use a new phone number for your WhatsApp Business account.
   b) Use an existing number not already registered with WhatsApр.
6. Verify phone number via code sent by SMS or phone call
   a) The number must be active to receive a two-factor authentication (2FA) code via SMS or voice call.
   b) Do not use short codes or toll-free or IVR system numbers.
